Color It Orange

Laguna College of Art & Design (LCAD)
cordially invites Orange County high
school teachers (grades 9–12) to 
participate in the 46th Annual Color
 It Orange Invitational. The Color It
 Orange mission is to encourage artistic
 expression among high school students 
and teachers throughout Orange County.

 

LCAD will host an opening reception
 to provide special recognition and to 
announce scholarships for deserving
 students. An LCAD admissions counselor
 will jury works of art.

SUBMISSIONS:

Five (5) works of art per teacher (2D or 3D). Maximum size for 2D is 18” x 24”. One (1) entry per student.

2D WORKS OF ART:

No restrictions on subject or medium. All works of art must be matted or mounted. Maximum dimension is 20” x 24”.

3D WORKS OF ART:

Maximum weight 25 lbs. No unfired ceramic pieces.

LABELING AND DELIVERY:

Please use attached label and fill out completely. Please place a label on the front and on the back of the work’s lower right-hand side. To qualify for a scholarship, a student must provide a valid e-mail address on the label. Please deliver all works of art wrapped well and/or in the portfolio provided by LCAD. Loose works of art will not be accepted.

It is the responsibility of the teacher or school representative to pick up all works of art. LCAD is responsible neither for safety nor care of works of art that are not picked up.

Saturday, March 22nd, closes at 1:00 p.m.
