The LCAD community and the public are invited to attend an artist slideshow lecture and Q&A session with distinguished artist, F. Scott Hess.
Hess is an American painter and conceptual artist. He has described himself as a "reluctant realist" whose work is nevertheless grounded in Old Master craft and the representation of observed detail.
Hess is a gifted teacher and has taught many classes at LCAD.
Attendance is FREE.

On Sunday, March 5th, 2023, Laguna College of Art + Design's (LCAD) Open House: Spring 2023 will offer prospective students an opportunity to meet with LCAD faculty and staff, and include individual presentations for our BFA programs in Animation/Experimental Animation, Design + Digital Media, Drawing and Painting, Entertainment Design, Game Art and Illustration; as well as presentations on admissions, the transfer process and financial aid.

On Sunday, November 6, 2022, Laguna College of Art + Design's (LCAD) Open House: Fall 2022 will offer prospective students an opportunity to meet with LCAD faculty and staff, and include individual presentations for our BFA programs in Animation/Experimental Animation, Design + Digital Media, Drawing and Painting, Entertainment Design, Game Art and Illustration; as well as presentations on admissions, the transfer process and financial aid.

Artists, Illustrators, Designers and Thinkers discuss the impact of AI on creative work. LCAD is sponsoring a lively debate on this important topic. Join us with your questions and contributions as a panel of experts examine the positive and negative impact of AI Art.

Bidding opens Wednesday, October 20th at 9:30AM and runs through Friday, October 29th at 8:30PM.
Join Orange County’s most beloved art enthusiasts, fellow philanthropists and the extended community of LCAD supporters, and bid on dozens of unique, exceptional, one-off works of art from renowned professional artists, as well as LCAD faculty and alumni. Proceeds from this event will benefit the LCAD Annual Fund.
